Held at the Artificial Intelligence Research Centre (CitAI), IJAD Dance Company joined forces with NCACE, in collaboration with City University, to create the Innovation Lab.
This event brought together artists, technologists, venues and academics to take steps toward developing collaborative ecosystems and identifying industry’s needs.
From AI’s development to support dedicated to independent artists, many discussions highlighted current challenges while exploring ways to nurture and inspire communities. At times through stimulated debates and confrontations, from which necessary changes can often emerge.
There is still a long way to go in order to develop full supportive infrastructures when working with new technology. But, asking the right questions together will bring us closer to befitting solutions.
