Amazing to have been a part of the XR Stories and XR Network+ funded project ‘Fragments of the Tempest’. Born from conversations with industry partner James Simpson around how can we develop digital characters that are rich, complex and engaging, it focused on unlocking 3D digital practice for hair, makeup and prosthetics artists and developed a hybrid pipeline for practitioners to apply their craft to digital characters in a digital realm made by Imogen Fox.
Directed by Ben Turnbull, movement direction and choreography by Joumana Mourad.
It culminated in a virtual production shoot in UAL’s new XR research Lab with the support of UAL Fashion, Textiles and Technology Institute.
This project will be available to experience soon in Epic Games’s Fortnite.
