This September, the Centre for Performance Technology and Equity (PTEQ) welcomed the first ever Motion Capture Performance Pedagogy Symposium, a unique opportunity for professionals from various parts of the motion capture medium to explore ideas, take part in workshops and discuss future practices at one event. Delighted to have been part of the panel.
Hosted by Research Fellow David Gochfeld and Tom Linden-McCarroll, this gathering of leading researchers, educators, and performers examined cutting-edge approaches to motion capture teaching and training across the gaming, cinematic and live performance industries. Key findings from the symposium will be used to develop new short courses and regional professional training opportunities in motion capture.
